Zay Blaze, Graduate of Hampton University, (BS - Music Engineering and Recording Technology) specializes in all aspects of the processes to create his music. Zay Blaze's Music is  mostly Self-Written, Composed, Recorded, Produced, and Engineered. He often invites musical colleagues to add features and skit content to his albums. He often engineers and produces for other artists such as Logan Woods, MARE, JAiMS, Great Dame, Kai Ca$h, and many more.

His main genres include, but are not limited to: R&B, Soul, and Hip Hop, and a little Down Home Blues. You will find all of these genres in each album. He is influenced by current and past musical artists.

 

Zay Blaze decided he wanted a career in music at the age of 10. He began singing before he was able to talk, he began to write in the 3rd grade. He began to learn to record and rap in the 6th grade. His first live musical performance was at 5yrs old.

Zay Blaze has a hefty catalog of independently recorded projects. His two most recent projects; WYD (2018), FLAME (2019), and Do You Care (2020), and Take 4 (2022) and most recently “The Day I Fell in Love” (2024) can be found on Most Streaming Services including iTunes, Spotify, Tidal, and Google Play along with other Eps and features for other artists. Seven (7) of Zay Blaze's songs have gained airplay on Radio One and other FM radio stations.
